By using this application, creating an account, or purchasing any tier you accept these terms. Effective date 2026-06-03. If you do not accept, do not use the platform or place an order.
2. सेवा एवं खाता
Service, Account & License

Bharat Ephemeris is a paid astrology service. Readings and reports are sold in tiers from ₹499 to ₹33,333 (see /pricing). To order and access readings you sign in with Google, which creates an account holding your name and email. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of the birth details you submit.

The application's source code is published openly at the project GitHub — see the LICENSE file for redistribution rights. The substrate (R, g, k) framework is deposited under Zenodo DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20024273 and OSF DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/E6U2V under CC-BY 4.0.

The Discipline Clause

The platform never asserts a prediction. It computes structure — chart positions, daśā lords, classical signatures — and cross-references classical śāstra (BPHS, Phaladīpikā, Sāravalī, Sūrya-Siddhānta, Jaimini Sūtras, Tājika Nīlakaṇṭhī, KP Reader).

The interpretation of any computed structure belongs to the learned Jyotiṣī — a human practitioner with traditional training. The platform does not, and cannot, replace consultation with a qualified astrologer, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or any licensed professional.

4. पवित्र-संकेताः
Sacred Labels & Cultural Provenance
The platform uses Sanskrit terms (Kāmākhyā, Śrī Yantra, daśā, nakṣatra, deity names) as cultural provenance — honoring the lineage from which the computations descend. These labels are not assertions of metaphysical fact. They are heritage attribution per the Tier-W discipline (KAAL Truth #15) — Sacred labels are provenance, not magic; structure is label-independent. The platform respects the Hindu, Vedic, and broader Indic traditions from which the framework draws. Use of sacred terms in a derogatory manner is not permitted.
5. ननु-वारणम्
No Warranty · Accuracy as Published
The platform is provided AS-IS without warranty of any kind. Accuracy claims are published openly at /accuracy. These are the documented limits. The platform does not guarantee any specific outcome — financial, health, relationship, or otherwise — for any user.(vs NASA/JPL Horizons · DE441 canonical authority): Sūrya within ~3 arc-minutes, Candra within ~7 arc-minutes — computed 100% from the Bhāratīya substrate (Sūrya-Siddhānta + Kerala Tantrasaṅgraha 1501, Ujjayinī-anchored). The full nava-graha audit against the sovereign substrate is being re-run; interim per-graha figures from the retired foreign pipeline have been withdrawn.

Payments & Pricing

Bharat Ephemeris is a paid service. Prices range from ₹499 to ₹33,333 and are listed in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹), inclusive of applicable taxes. The current tiers and prices are on /pricing.

Payments are processed by Razorpay (a PCI-DSS Level 1 Indian payment processor). We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI handle, or banking credentials — we receive only a payment reference and confirmation. Full payment is due at the time of order for self-serve tiers; application-only tiers (Sealed Architect) are invoiced after a written scope agreement. Failed payments cancel the order automatically.

Refunds & Cancellation
Refunds and cancellation windows are set out in full on our /refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: a warm refund window applies per tier (7–30 days as stated there); the Razorpay processing fee is absorbed by us; and refunds are returned to the original payment rail, typically within 3–7 business days.
5c. गोप्यता
Privacy & Your Data
To deliver the service we collect and store personal data — your account (name, email, optional phone via Google sign-in), birth details for charts you save or order, and order/payment records. How we collect, use, retain, and let you control this data is governed by our /privacy policy, which is DPDP Act 2023-aligned. Birth data is treated with the same care as health data.
6. उत्तरदायित्व-सीमा
Limitation of Liability

Our readings are for guidance and reflection only. They are NOT a substitute for medical, legal, psychological, or financial professional advice, and do not predict the future. For any medical, legal, mental-health, or financial decision, consult the appropriate licensed professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform — including decisions you take after a reading. Direct damages, if any, are capped at the amount you actually paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

  • Bharat Ephemeris, Jyotiṣa, ज्योतिषम् marks — trademarks of Pardeep Sehrawat (registration in progress).
  • User-submitted birth-chart inputs and account data: collected and stored to deliver the service, governed by /privacy (DPDP Act 2023). Delivered reports are © the operator, prepared for the named customer; you may keep and quote them for personal use but not resell or republish them without written consent.
8. स्वीकार्य-उपयोगः
Acceptable Use
  • Do not derogate any tradition, religion, or community.
  • Do not use the platform's accuracy claims to defraud or mislead.
  • Do not scrape or redistribute content in ways that misrepresent the platform's discipline — including stripping the KAAL Truth #5 disclaimer from any computed output.
  • Respect the open-source license of the codebase (permissive MIT-style for code; CC-BY 4.0 for substrate publications).
9. बाल-उपयोगः
Children's Use
The paid service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly sell to, or collect personal data from, anyone under 18, and we direct no targeted advertising at anyone. Per the DPDP Act 2023, a child's data may be processed only with verifiable parental consent; charts for minors should be ordered only by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a minor has registered, write to us and we will delete the account and its data.
10. परिवर्तनानि
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage and the effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the platform after a published change constitutes acceptance.
